plane for shadow problem

so i take a plane to reflect the shadow on it.. i assign it to a vraywrap material so it works out fine.. it shows the shadow.. my only problem that when there is a background image, u sort of c the plane in it.. its often different shade.. it could be brighter or darker... here's an example.. an old render of my mazda, u can c the plane as a brighter sqaure in the background.. does anybody know how to fix that problem?? (in the render included, the best seen place is at the trees on the right.. u can c on their trunks how the shades change sharply.. from there u can see the brighter square)
