yeah, once you start getting a feel for what functions actually do, that's the time to start learning the keyboard shortcut for it. At my old job, I used to say, "you can tell when I'm on a high-productivity 3d streak when it sounds like I'm typing a novel."

in other programs as well, others started to like keyboard shortcuts over right-clicking or menu systems because of how it can get entire tasks done in about 1/6th the time. It's just like being able to communicate directly to the computer, versus having to tell a translator what you want done, then having the translator tell the computer. Give it time too. It took me about a year and a half to develop a keyboard shortcut system that was to my liking. And I'm still wondering if there's things I've missed.
