Unluckily I know what are you meaning!

In 2003, I was working on a lowpoly (5k) Ferrari Enzo. It was created for videogames: a "Ferrari Enzo challenge" mod for EA F1 Challenge 99/02. It was a free project done for free with D.I.D.T. (DrivingItalia.net Development Team).

DrivingItalia.net commercial office asked directly to Ferrari S.p.a. the authorization to release for free on the web this mod. It hadn't cost absolutely nothing to Ferrari because our team had developed everything until an advanced level of work, and it could be a great advertisment both for Drivingitalia.net and for Ferrari.

The answer from Maranello was a direct "NO". The mod project, quite finished, was completely abandoned, and DIDT completely finished to exist because of this terrible news! It was the end of an year of work for free in our spare time. :x

Ferrari deleted our dreams simply with 2 letters!

You're in right, Daytonatim, but don't be exagerated! Ferrari lawyers are occupied with other bigger problems than your "Ferreri" logo. Me too, I'm modeling an old and rare Ferrari, as you can notice in my sign, but Ferrari didn't send me mails or message until now! Surely I prefer that Ferrari know nothing about my 512s work, but I'm really proud to model a race car like that, that is a '70s italian masterpiece of engineering.

And, when I'll finish it, I'll model it's natural enemy: 1970 Porsche 917 lh (means long tail) with Martini racing psychedelic livery.

I think that don't use original logo for a 3d masterpiece like your boxer is worse than don't use it! Luca Cordero di Montezemolo probably will be happy to see your passion in your engine!

Continue to model it, and don't be worried!
