The German model car producer (!) Herpa, well known for his nice HO-model cars (mainly 1
7 scale) has bought the rights (licenses) of the name Trabant and plans to relaunch a "New Trabant", like Volkswagen did with the New Beetle,BMW with the Mini or Fiat with the 500. A 1:10 scale model already exists and had been shown at this year´s IAA in Frankfurt.And they got positive reactions of the visitors, and now they plan to build the real thing....Here are some pics.
