I understand that to you, SMC staff, the contest rules you choose are really important.
But the 80's contest looks very well structured to me. Of course it wasn't made according to the rules, but it was because the rules didn't exist at that time. And as it will be over before WZA (end of February versus end of March) I really think you should allow it to accord medals.
To be straight, the same applies to the Real Life Carmageddon Car Challenge, but to me, there is no active entry and the end is in 2 weeks.
