I agree it is a matter of personal taste. When modeling the LS460, I was inspired by these companies and followed their style of car mods
couple examples:
LS460 Lexus... so Fabulous ! : Nihon Car .com
The "Aufzälhen treatment" for the Wald LS460 : Nihon Car .com
The Lexus LS460 by Wald International : Nihon Car .com
Pretty much the same render as the one from last page but higher res and no more nasty AA on the bodylines!
