mabye someone is screwing with you at work
it does sound really werid.
if you extured them i would make sure the extured setting were right (sure you ahve down that), and make sure the parts i was extured from where all on the same level (if you need them to be) and make sure each wall at the bottom was flat, if they where not on the same level that could make the problem you have.
that about it, i havent used max in a while now so i am a bit rusty.

when ever your boss asked you work late and you ahve nothing to do i always stay back, becase come friday, i use it as a bargining tool to get off early
