Is VRay free or not. Im confused :P

Supposedly there is a free version of vray for 3dsmax @ vrayrender.com but when I go there I don't see anything. I really want to start rendering with vray and max if there is some trial/shareware/free version out there. Thanks in advanced.

well I know that there is a free Vray plugin somewhere, but it's a very simplified and limited version of the real (non free) Vray.
For as far as I know there is no trial of Vray

No it's not a cracked version of vRay what they got. When you register their site you can get it for free

FlashG: I tried that and every time I tried to install it, It cancels out all the time cause it requests that you place it in the C:/3dmax/ folder and when I try to change it to j:/programs/3dmax it cancels out with a error.
