Axis Problem with .3ds...

I'm having a slight problem with 3dsmax 7.0...

created a model including about 40 parts which i need to extract to 3ds format ( no other way possible to get it into the game i am working with.) i am getting that silly "flip" axis problem which means some parts get turned into wrong direction like on the z or y axis after importing it to 3ds and than checking for example in rhino or converting it to a o.edit file. is there any way to fix this problem and keep the mesh directions just as i created them in 3dsmax?

Before exporting them to 3DS reset them XForms. You can find it from utilities
