Always make sure your texture(blueprint) dimensions are squares of two.
if your image dimensions aren't 2, 4, 8, 16, 32, 64, 128, 256, 512, 1024, 2048, 4096, 8192, 16384, or so on... it's not going to display optimally in the viewport. Furthermore, textures larger than 2048x2048 may start loosing quality within the viewports, as some graphics cards may not be able to render those properly, if at all. ![]()

you use OpenGL? Just about every machine I've ever used max on starts slowing to a crawl in openGL with even the simplest of 3d models being displayed. At least with DirectX you're able to have a scene with 1,000,000 faces in it, and still not get bogged down while viewing through the world...

iam not sure if this workes with everyone, if u go to the customize tab and then preferences, you can see another tab called viewports. in that tab u can configure the driver that u have. then maybe you can check up the "match bitmap size as closely as possible" squere and all of the sudden you have amazing blueprints in your viewport
(the next time u start up max )![]() ![]() Xbob live Wannabe |
