Arrow Little problem with moving a plane in car project

Hi,

Just started on a 1970 Lamborghini Jota SRV.
Just have a small question though, which is explained in the picture, so you can see a bit clearer what I mean.

What it basicly comes down to is that I need a tip what the best thing is to do when i want to copy the a part of the plane over the bonnet.
" making the bonnet" in terms of poly (with a plane) modeling.

Did you understand it?

Not quite the answer that I hoped for, I mean, I know how to make a plane editable, so no, sorry not the wanted answer.

how about selecting those vertices(ones you wanna move) and moving them.

Anyone who has never made a mistake has never tried anything new.
