those not clear spots are the welding points of the cube, where you can see the thickness of it. that cube isn't a 2D surface like a plane of polygons. my guess is you would have to create a material that brakes the light coming through it realistically like that cube ie thick glass.

@S][M: yes that would be what I need, but how do I make a material like that? Like I said I don't know much about materials yet...
