Welding two meshes into one

Is there any way of welding two meshes together?. I have tried but it comes up with "no verticies in range"

you have to use the attach button to make them both the same mesh then use target weld to weld the point to each other

You cannot weld closed vertices... that is, vertices which have faces enclosing it on all possible areas. You can weld two boxes together, if you've deleted the faces that would be on the interior of the weld, for example.

If you mean like a car then you can by using the symetry modifier it will automaitcally weld the two meshs together and gives you a threshold option to change the distance of the weld. hope i helped

u need to have equal vertices on both ends of the borders! and if u are using max 7 or 8 you can use the bridge option to cover them up.

well, you can weld very easy vertices in editable mesh, or try colapsing them tohether
