Viewport question

ok theres nothing wrong just wondering if theres a way to do it ....

i like all my viewports to be Smooth + highlights with edged faces...is there a way to set it so you dont have to do that every single time u start a new project??

you could make yourself a template file, where you modify the viewports the way you like them, then save the file as something you'll remember... this way, instead of creating a new scene, you'd open up that file, then save as, to make your different scene. The real question would be, would it take longer to open up this template file and save-as to a new file, or would it take longer to set the viewports each time?

if you make the viewports how you want them, and then save it as maxstart.max into the scenes folder in the 3dsmax directory, itll load that every time it starts up
