Vray Glow Headlight

hy all! i'm trying to get some glow on my M3 headlight but no result.

does anyone knows how to do it??

with mental ray i've made a nice glow shader..but i can't get the same result with vray

you wont be able to get the visual effects, but if you use vrayglow i believe, or use vraymtlwrapper, and then put a standard material in it, raise the color to 100%, and then go back to the vraymtlwrapper, and increase the GI you can get it to light up but thats about it

vray mtlwrapper only creates a light near the object but it doesn't create the glow effect..

i've tried to use video post and surprise: it worked...only if i don't use glass in front of the light bulb..so it's not good..another ideas??

How about put a VRay light inside the headlight and change it to whatever color you want?

\\EDIT\\ Just saw your picture, don't think that idea will work for what you're trying to do..

Maybe do a render with VRay with the materials you want.. then render JUST the headlights from the same view in Metal Ray.. then do some magical Photoshop action?
