Vicman - sorry about the delay. I have been extremely busy. It looks as if you haven't turned on the shadows? Also, since you're using vray, make sure you select vray shadows in the drop down menu.


also, were is the light exactly? It should be placed right up in the headlight where you would put the actual bulb

i have placed it in the deep end but i cant get a good result :/ look at this it dont looks specielly good it looks like crap :'( i have vrayshadows on

I have another things to work on (new flash site) so i can wait a while if you dont have time for the moment

Ok render me one more image......what you have the IES light pointed at, the inside of the light behind the lense. You have it set as a chrome material yes? Set it to a default material, Max's standard material and then render again.


Also, you might want to turn the intensity down. I had to take it way down.

have u given the material some self illumination or put in an omni light that affects only the included headlight parts? not sure but maybe it would work...
