3DS MAX 6 Background

hy guyz....i want to know how can I make my background black(look at the attachment).....I have MAX 6 but my background is grey...................plz tell me how to do it................thx

did you try to go to render - environment?
you can be able there to set up your color

go to customize > customize user interface > colors tab > viewport background

thx guyz....but I've sayd that I want the background black(coloured with red) not the viewport background......but anyways....thx

go to customize > customize user interface > colors tab >, then all the colours listed in the "Scheme" list will affect the actual user interface colours
