vray composite renders help

Ive been trying with no sucsess on trying to make a composite render with a picture as a background to show up with shadows using vray i can do it with brazil but no luck sofar in vrazy but my ?. is there away to do this like how its done in brazil . when u go to veiwport background and the envroiment part (8key) and load image for example a pic of pitroad like this pic here

and for ground plane use a mateshaddow. is there away to do this same thing using vray?
and of so how is it done .

matte/shadow material isnt supported by vray, not fully atleast. Insted use the VrayMtlWrapper. There you can adjust some matte settings. Then it was something about vray properties, when you right click on an object ,where you could set some matte settings also

thanks for the help lol i found out that vray proerties setting soon afer i made the post lol but i didnt now about the vray mtlwrpper i just use a standard map but ill give the vray one atry to c how that turns out and thanks again for the reply

I haven't used Vray or Brazil, nor do I have the funds any time soon to do so... but I can offer you some general advice:

watch out how you create your reflections in the car. Your reflections actually make the car look slightly transparent, due to reflecting a map that's set up as a "Screen" mapping type... (you can see this clearly in the shadows and the yellow paint lines

it'd be best to build up a couple reflection image maps for various environments, and then set those as actual spherical environment map types on the car...
