So here I am, sitting snug at my desk at work, plotting out 4 square kilometers of contour lines using just edge extruding...It ain't pretty, and my eye is beginning to twitch...See attached and you'll get my drift
![]() I am wondering if any of you good-lookin' peeps out there know of a way to convert AutoCAD contours merged into MAX to a 3D mesh. Even if it just converts it to a flat mesh, and I'll adjust the heights, it doesn't matter. Please, for the love of my sanity, lend a brother a hand!! ![]() ------------------------- Current Project: Pondering... ------------------------- Wheels: 1977 Ford Fairlane ZH ------------------------- System/s: PC, Xbox 360 (XBL GT: DrFe3lgo0d), PlayStation Portable -------------------------

I'm trying now, yet MAX seems to hit a bug and just shuts down when I click on Compound Objects with this CAD in my scene...WTF??

There's a glitch in the actual CAD file, so we're trying to get copies as I type... Thanks for the idea IC!! I remember using that before only once, so we'll see how it goes when I get it rolling.
