Yeah this is a problem in max 9 i did not like,if your plane is too higher resolution it likes to cut it off,i did manage to sort it somehow but i cant remeber how,if i find out as im swapping to max 9 again tonight.i will tell you
I had the same problem, since they are prints cut them up, top, side front back and then map it, btw it comes out fine when rendering for some reason, u just have to make the texture smaller I think
Im sure i figured out another way,keeping the high res prints.but this is pretty odd.texture size shouldnt be limited cos if your using huge textures to map a wall or something then you will run into the same problem.Maybe its for memory reason.but there should be an override optiON.anyway im just blabbering on about nothingness so.i will try and solve out.
