dosent load properly

hey everyone,

i recently reinstalled windows, and when i reinstalled 3d max everything works fine but the workspace dosent load heres a screen shot of what happens:


all the options/menues work, and i can even create stuff in the workspace! but i just cant see anything!? does anyone kno how to fix this?

If you re-installed windows you will have to re-activate your 3D Max software

Might be problem with your gfx card. Try to check your settings from customize -> preferences -> viewports -> choose driver

Do you have latest directx drivers installed?

edit:

i just tryed messing around with the drivers and i switched it to open GL and it worked!? when i switched back to directx it stoped working again!? i also realised that when its set to directx in the box that says current installed driver its blank?? but when its set to openGL it lists a driver in there.

make sure you have the latest version of your graphics drivers and install the latest version of directx.

i wud suggest a simple thing, that is go to windows settings and convert 16 bit to 32 bit.
this happened to me once.....
i think it is the same thing.
