Hi guys.
I'm rounding up my first Maxscript: a little tool that sets up all your blueprints for you. Just select the bitmaps, set some options, and BOOM it does everything for you
You have to cut them in advance and make sure the Side, Top and Bottom images are facing to the right, but there's not more to it then that. the script does materials with selfillumination, correct aspects on the planes, sets backface culling to on, and can optionally resize and freeze the blueprints. There's also 3 types of plane arrangement: crossed, box and exploded.
There's one feature still missing: setting every viewport to edged faces mode, I just can't get that working atm...
Anyway, it's really easy to use, i've done a lot of testing and it works with well-cut blueprints, but I need some more testing. Just download the rar and put the script in 3DS Max/Scripts, then run it through Maxscript > Run Script. It's written for Max 9, might work in older versions as it doesn't do anything special.
Report to me if you find anything, if you know Maxscript, suggesting fixes or even doing it yourself is allowed.
oh also; this is meant for use on a blank, new file with nothing in it of course.
