Extreme Amature

Hey guys
ok i have been messing around with 3ds ax for about a week now and i have caught on very quick and im currently watching Lynda - 3ds Max 9 Modeling DVD - that a friend has given me and im loving it and i have made a few buildings for a game that a friend and i are creating a mod for that has become awesome and i was using pictures as refrences but then one day looking for refrences i found this wed site and cg-cars and there is a lambo on that site that i would like to be able to model but not if that makes any sense basically i would like to be able to sit down and make a car that i can think of off a base of another car any directions to tutorials would be great (i seen one on you tube but it was in portuguese but he has blueprints so now im gonna use these

http://www.smcars.net/forums/attachm...1-4-viev-1.jpg

i chose this because its a pretty small car and not a huge amount of lines so now i have 3ds max i have blue prints and i also have a huge amount of ambition on learning this.

heres my problem i dont know how to set up these blue prints lol can someone give me alot of advice and alot of pointers and as said before modeling car tutorials would be awesome
Awaiting responses

Welcome to SMCars. There is a Tutorial Section on this site which has lots of great information. Also Google Search Engine should be your best friend. Here's a couple of links to help get ya started.
I'd recomend working on some of the tutorials that come with Max first to get yourself well intorduced to the tools.

spend some time searching the forum... when i first started out I searched the forum for everything, a lot of us beginners ask the very same questions so it's neat to see the wealth of answers available here.
