Exclamation Newbie needs direction!

Hello everyone. Thank GOD I found you! I just got 3ds Max 2008 and have no experience and no idea what I'm doing!

I have noticed that blueprints make modeling a lot easier...I just am still not too sure on how to do that. I have some jpg files that I could use. Can anyone tell me how?

I'm making a 2006 Yamaha YZF-R6. I know this is a car forum mainly but you guys seem to know more than anyone else so I joined this forum.

I hope you all can help! Thank you!

Welcome to smcars. Nice name Yeah, you are right, blueprints make modeling a lot easier. You can find a lot of tutorials here in our tutorial section that will help you starting with 3d modeling. Hope to see some stuff from you soon, good luck.

Ok, I know it's gonna be funny so if you look at my 2006 Yamaha R6 Thread make sure you're not eating or drinking anything. I wouldn't want anyone to choke to death laughing! lol.

Oh and I'm going through the tutorial and the shrink and grow options don't seem to work for me. It says to select all but one of the vertices to work and I did that and still nothing. I've tried selecting all of them too and still nothing. The only thing that changes is the axis move a little and then they disappear... Weird.
