question about UVW

i have problem.. maybe someone can say have to make a templete from UVW file from 3ds max .. !!

and one question .. how to make glass material !

the easiest way to get a texture template for your model is to hit print-screen while the UVW Editor is open.

If you want more accuracy, or need a larger template, you could use the Render to Texture feature and then force wireframe in the render settings. Save out the image as a targa with alpha split, and then use the alpha channel targa file as your template.

Newer versions of 3DSMAX has a feature that you can render your template to a file at any size.Its under Tools -> Render UVW Template of the Unwrap Modifier dialog(window).
