Post Type of Model Methods Help

Type of Model Methods Help

I know there is many ways of modeling but, I was wondering what is the most "non-messy" way of making a model. Some people start with a 1x1 plane seg. and build of that, while others and make full seg. planes and "mold" it.

thanks

Caleb

Welcome to SMC, Caleb. I hope you'll enjoy your stay here.

Please, edit your post to get back to a more standard font. This one is really too narrowed.

About modeling methods, there is several for poly modeling (start from a plane or a box, do the whole body at first or do part by part, ...) You can also use NURBS instead of poly.

There is no definitive better way. You just have to try as many methods as possible and keep the most practical to you.

As a rule of thumb, I would say that best models I've seen have been done with NURBS. I looking forward for enhancements in my software (Blender) to give them a try.
