Doubts with mapping

Well i started to make my first car mapping, so i could apply some funky paintjobs.

I've already made the Unwrap UVW mapping and it's all set. but now how can i export the "drawing" of the UVW so i can start making the paint jobs? a friend of mine told me to use Texporter but since i use Max 2009 i can't because it detects that the version don't match.
Can anyone help?

Oh and BTW he showed me how he would apply the pait map but that's made with Texporter too right? so i need to find another way?

I found oout that if i "packed" them then i could render the template anddo the stuff.

But packing messes the UVW map i made and since its for a funky tunning project i could really use them as i made (from front to the back of the car) instead of the random pieces of the UV packing.

If i do that without packing i get a full black image. and if i try another mode on the "fill" options max just stands there and i have to manually terminate it.

You need to manually arrange your mapped parts into the blue square, then render the template.

Check in my tutorial here... http://www.smcars.net/forums/tutoria...lt-method.html
