Hey guys!
Long time no see.. Here's just a small story about why..
October 2006, me and my girlfriend hooked up and spend lots and lots of time together. Everytime I was at home by myself, I couldn't check on SMCars because I was afraid of losing my "New Posts" (as I check like 98% of the messages that are posted. Modifying, PM-ing the authors, moving, etc etc). And well, the list got bigger and bigger, so I really didn't want to check on SMC as I would need only more and more time to check up all new posts.. Yes, that's stupid, but oh well..
Anyway, I moved out with two friends, living in one house with the three of us. It all went allright, and we played a LOT of Counter-Strike, so as you can guess: less time for SMC..
After a few months, this situation got quite bad. I spent more time at my girlfriend's than at 'my own' (for personal reasons), and the two friends didn't really like that. Behind my back, lots of things happened, and that - eventually - led to me moving out.
Together with my girlfriend, as she didn't like the mood at her home either (her sister..). Now we live together for a few months in a small house/room. It's really nice, I like it a lot and I won't ever want to be living on my own or friends again.
But as the landlord is very lazy, we still don't have any internet. We finally got a tv-connection, so it's slowly on the move to a better place to live. But still, I have no internet..
Today, I thought: 'What the heck. What am I doing?' By not going to SMC again, I almost gave up my modeling hobby, almost gave up a few good friendships (sorry guys!), and I lost a part of my life, so to speak.
So.. I'm back, and as I hope to be getting internet quite soon, I hope I'm able to visit SMC a lot more than I did in the last year or more.
Even now I think: it's good to be back! That's a promising feeling.
I hope to be here more often from now on, and I'd like to welcome myself to be here again

I'll be browsing through some of the WIPs and stuff, and see if I can get my notorious eye back
Cheers,
Arjen
EDIT:
I'm building my own website, too. It should be working properly in a few weeks, so you can see my portfolio there (finally

).
My website - works best with Mozilla or IE7
