------------------------- Interview: Johnas -------------------------

You, Summarised...

Name (just first): Johannes

Alias: Johnas, Flashg

Age: 28

Location: Finland

Qualifications (if any): -

Current Job: I work at finnish ISP in a Help Desk for companies. Lousy job no more to say

-------------------------

Like To Get To Know You Well...

What made you get into digital art? At 2002 I wanted to try to make my own car for Geoff Crammonds GP4 and found program called ZModeler from the wonderful world of internets. I found out that it was quite a pain to put own cars to it so I actually stopped modeling for awhile. Then I found out that GTA3/GTAVC was relatively easy to mod and make cars for it. I started modeling again and put few of my cars to it. Never released them though and sadly I've lost almost every old car of mine. Would be nice to see how they'd look these days.

What do you like most about this field? Modeling is a way me to relax, get out from real life for a moment. Sadly I haven't got time to model recently and you can actually notice it from me. I'm more stressed and I got short fuse aswell.

Explain what your current job entails, and why you like it: I don't like my job at all but it keeps me alive and brings food to my family. Not gonna do my job forever, all the time looking for another job.

What do you see yourself working as in 10 years? Hopefully 3D artist on some gamecompany but it's hard to say. You never can't know what future brings.

What is your dream company in this field that you would want to work for, and why? Many gamecompanies has started to use 3D scanners, I wonder if there are any places for the modelers anymore in a future but as said above I'd like to work for the game company or even found one. I got few ideas what might work. Not gonna tell them of course

-------------------------

Wrapping You Up...

What are your other hobbies/interests? My main hobby is 3D, drawing sometimes, music (rock mainly), movies, taking long walks...

And last but not least, since this is a 3D car-related forum, what is your dream car, and why? There are so many but someday I want to buy an old muscle car from the 60's or early 70's.

------------------------- END Interview: Johnas -------------------------

Current Project: Pondering...
-------------------------
Wheels: Watch this space...
-------------------------
System/s: PC, Xbox 360 (XBL GT: DrFe3lgo0d), PlayStation Portable
