Sorry for being late to response. I answer anyways, as it could be of interest to any future reader.
Set another material for the object you want to be reflected but invisible by itself if not reflected. For this material, under the "Material" panel, there is a "Env" button : check it, and it will work. If of any interest, you can set an HDRI in background in another way. I will post in a few days a tutorial I'm writing on it. Feel free to search around the net to find out tutorials.
