Help me identify a car

Alright, I need some help. I saw this car over the summer in New York, a red coupe. Very late 60's early 70's italian body style, similar to the Ferrari Dino only smaller in all dimensions. I THINK it was a Fiat but I'm not sure, I remember my father commenting on it being "a really pretty, really slow" car that he would leave in the dust when he had his 911 in the 70's. I knew the name of it once but it came up in conversation yesterday and I've forgotten it, please any help!

Nope wasnt an Alfa. I would know it if it were an alfa, I learned to drive manual transmission on one :twisted: I figured it out though. It was a slightly modified Opel GT from the real early 70's. I couldn't find any pictures of a car that looked just like the one I saw cause it was modified (lowered, rims, very nice looking body kit) but this is definitely the car.
