doesnt the buggati veyron cost less, looks better, and has more power?? now thats what i call a deal, but agreeing with tom, 650hp is still a LOT of power under a hood, btw, does anybody know if this new lambo also awd? or did they make it rwd? b/c the gallardo and murci are both awd

i think your missing the point. this car is supposed to be something special and, now you feel like paying 1.5 mil for a bloody bodykit a nice interior and 10 extra hp???? come on, you can get more out of the motor

that's true, but then again there will be only 20 made of this car so, it's somewhat special, even if it looks worse than the bugatti

i was trying to 650bhp is a bloody lot, even tho it might only be 10 more than the other lambo, that doesnt mean top speed, 0 to 60 speed are goin to be the same, its got more to do with gearing, the fastest car in the world doesnt need 1000bhp, they had to limit the veryron, but because bugatti came out early on say its going to have 1000bhp they had to stick to it, you could easly get 250mph and 3 sec 1 to 60 times from 650bhp, which could make the car very special.

but i do agree you are paying a lot for the brand in this car, but hey, i think lambo has gone about pricing the right way, they havent based the price on how much the car costs to make but how much ppl would pay to own 1 of 20 lambo

But anyhow again did you read something about gear changes to improve the car's performance or is this a hunch your having.

what do you think, gearchanges in milliseconds (referring to the Challenge Stradale of the F430) is slower than what you can achieve with your foot and arm? it sure does improve the performance. (i'm just making a random example)

quite frankly, if i wanted that, then i would by a corvette and go the cost effective route. iirc you can get in Enzo, Porsche CGT territory for simply 18$ that's ~560 RWHP and ~650 BHP

but then again this is a lamborghini and if i pay 1.5 MIL for this, then i would want more than a 10 HP upgrade

well, technically, if you can afford a 1.5 MIL car, then i'm sure you can afford a turbo setup for that engine, and afford to custom tune it to push the most out of it

well if you read before, ppl think that paying 1.5 MIL for a car that has only 10 more hp then the murci is a rip off.. i said that if it really really bothers them, they technically they can easily afford to tune it to get more hp
