Goodbye Ultimate Aero, this fugly little thing has just taken your title, and has beaten you by 85mph!!

Sure is, Just look here: http://www.acabion.com/ and here: Acabion - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
and when I used to work in Geneva, I saw what was basiclly the prototype of that one, sleek looking thing... It used to be parked in the street, I'm amazed no one ever tried to grab it . |

...more speed holes maybe, huh IC?
![]() I'd still stick with a Zonda for my supercar-o-choice. May not be as fast, but at least it doesn't look like a tampon manufacturer designed it for Flash Gordon... ![]() ------------------------- Current Project: Pondering... ------------------------- Wheels: 1977 Ford Fairlane ZH ------------------------- System/s: PC, Xbox 360 (XBL GT: DrFe3lgo0d), PlayStation Portable -------------------------

![]() i also thought it looked like a tampon lol...and a Zonda would be alright if no speed-hole deluxe GT/LMP cars were available ![]() the designers "grand vision of the future" of special big long raised straight roads everywhere with his cars zipping along them makes me raise an eyebrow too...if they built that in Aus, people would be spearing off the road dying all the time, because theyd almost certainly develop huge potholes within a week ![]() ![]() ![]() Current WIPs: SuperGT stuff LCA Contest: Days of Thunder Lumina Future Ideas: Late 80s/Early 90s Australian Touring Cars

Any video of the beast at high speed ? Figures are really impressive, but I'm looking forward to see them validated !
At the moment, I keep my eyes on the Ariel 500 : 500hp, 500kg. Supercharged V8 made from two Hayabusa 4cylinders. See it there : Ils ont osé ! Can you imagine these things on Australian roads? One of those things could FIT in our pot-holes
![]() You have to give them a thumbs-up for looking to the future. At least their idea is original-ish. ...and that Ariel is pretty cute, but it just looks like a shortened, fattened F1 car. No thumbs up for the designers here, but the power would be astonishing. They'd need to adopt paddle-shifting to get everyday people experiencing it's acceleration though... Every test of the Atom I saw, they always mentioned the acceleration of something ridiculous like 3-seconds to 100kph, "if you can change gears that fast"... ![]() ------------------------- Current Project: Pondering... ------------------------- Wheels: 1977 Ford Fairlane ZH ------------------------- System/s: PC, Xbox 360 (XBL GT: DrFe3lgo0d), PlayStation Portable -------------------------
