The idea of fabrics for the body panel is stunning. First design with this, and it already looks damn promising. I'm already looking forward to see such a technology in streets.

...and Nik thinks he has trouble getting his car keyed...

Thumbs up for trying, and thinking outside the box, but it's not for me...

I've always hated the idea of mixing brittle materials with a piece of machinery. You've got a vehicle that weighs around a ton, that could quite easily reach 200kph, and it's body is covered in fabrics... It'd look like Jeremy Clarkson's face when he tested the Atom...

Also, how would you wash it? Peel it off and take it down to your local dry-cleaner?? "Please ma'am, just drip-dry this for me, and nothing above 30-degrees..."

Like I said, good on 'em for doing something different, but in my opinion, cars are meant to be strong and made of tough materials... It's why i don't like wood in cars, and it's unfortunately why I don't like this.

the look of fabric over steel frame is okay when used as inspiration for metal designs but this goes too far. i now yearn for a bangle-butt.

It looks very interesting. I really don't like the design, but the usage of the fabric "skin" is amazing. The open/closing of the "eyes" are very cool.

I wonder if that thing is rainproof, however...

After i look the trailer in my mind an d idea has grown, can it be a test mule fo the next z4,
cause the shape is really similar, and after bmw have not only good coments about their last designs,
they deside to sheck the human reaction of the car

p.s.
This is my opinion
