The new super-Ferrari

Ferrari Enzo Successor Mule Spotted for First Time

It's pretty well disguised - and if they'd spent some more time on making the body a bit nicer fitting - it wouldn't have been obvious. The enormous single exhaust pipe exiting the back clearly gives the game away. The two above it are fakes.

Very eary, but very interesting. Doesnt seem like its stretched as much. I remember when the F50 was being muled on a F355 , and it was very obvious there was something different about it ( ie longer)

They did say it'd be smaller - and I guess this is our evidence. They needed to do something, the Enzo Ferrari was a huge car, very wide and fairly long. A smaller car will be lighter and perhaps bring Ferrari back into the play against rivals like Pagani who seem to build the best supercars at the moment.

Well I cant lie ( as far as the Zonda F goes) Id rather have it than a Ferrari. But Ive heard from people like Gordon Murray, that companies like Pagani and Koenigsegg are just overweight cars with huge engines. I read that somewhere, though thats me paraphrasing.

Murray (who writes for Evo) tends to have a lot of opinions.

I find it amazing that Pagani can get the 7.3L AMG-Mercedes V12 engine (which is a very big engine) and fit it in a car which doesn't leave you short changed in terms of equipment levels, quality and refinement, yet the whole package weighs only 1250kg.

It's lighter than the sparsely equipped Porsche Carrera GT and the crude Enzo Ferrari, and just 30kg off the 430 Scuderia.

It's only about 100kg off the very light McLaren F1. I'm worried by the Zonda replacement - the prototype with its bulging fenders looks like it might well be a larger car than the old one.

I'm sure Janusz will agree with me when I say it needs more 'Lamborghini'

Not necessarily true - there's a certain Koenigsegg (forget which at the mo) that has a better power-to-weight than an Ultima GTR, which weighs 990 kg.

Damn that's ugly. I understand it's just a test car, but... DAYUM, that's ugly :/

I apologise. I'm not a Ferrari fan. I've never seen why people think they look good. I just don't see it v.v

Maybe they used to make pretty cars a long time ago, but I'm getting a bit tired of them riding on old glory. That 'new' California model is ghastly. Similarly I think Lamborghini's lost control to Audi for styling. The Reventon was like a swansong to the crazy Italian styling of yesteryear.

I'd rather have that AM Vantage RS. That was just a test car, but at least it was pretty.

You might want to buckle up.
