Renault Alpine A110-50 concept

The rally icon Alpine A110 turned out 50 years. To celebrate the history and to allow fans hoping the brand come back, Renault unveiled the Alpine A110-50 concept car today.



Marketing decided the event should take place within the Monaco F1 Grand Prix. Here're the pictures.

Basically, the concept is a silhouette over the Megane Trophy : tubular chassis, 3.5L V6 400HP, 880kg without fluids.

I saw this car in the metal on Saturday, it makes a fantastic noise at full chat!
I had a look up close too, it looks great, I would welcome Renault to make this car, would look good in all Matte Black, like a stealth fighter.

No doubts, i love this car. If they'll get in keeping the price within 50.000 euro, Renault said will produce it. 400 hp and less than 1 ton , it will be the new reference in my opinion for lighweighted sport cars.
By the way, i don't think so the stock car will look exactly like this, too much personal and kitsch to fit the general tastes imho.
