Export Problem with Flash G´s Kadett

Hi every body!

I´ve got an problem:

I use Cinema 4D, I open the .3ds file... no problem! Now I´ve edited the car and safe as .c4d and as .3ds, but when I open the .3ds File than... just look:

I hope somebody can help me!

It's something that has to be done in 3DSMAX...I'm not entirely sure, so I'd ask FlashG.

Cinema4D would have a similar function, "XForms" are a universal 3d thing, and all professional 3d programs would have it (probably under different names though)


Current WIPs: SuperGT stuff >>> Need to rewrite the completed list for 2008...

I use Max too so I don't know how it is done in C4D. But yea it is XRef problem and not dummy as I said at the other topic

ok, so somebody with 3ds must fix it?

1)You can't use Xref if use Cinema4D version before 10, cause Xref was appeared only in version 10;
2) Maybe, You're using a parametrical objects or modificators, such as HyperNURBS, Symmetry etc. Try to convert objects into the whole mesh, using CURRENT STATE TO OBJECT or MAKE OBJECT EDITABLE and then convert to 3ds or smth You wish.
3) If not at good, upload your scene as is and we'll try to help You.
