Concept Car - Contest

I was drawing a concept car and was wondering if anyone would like to go for a contest for it.

if so the rules will be:

1. Only scratch build cars
2. Must be YOUR design
3. (EDIT) it does not have to be current car company any more
4. You'll have 2 weeks to draw up your designs
5. Please put your W.I.P titled [NAME]_Concept_Contest
6. Prize:

Winner will get an engine i have its a low/mid detail engine which can be smoothed if need be.

it can be in MAX, 3DS, MA/MB, OBJ formats (winner just needs to say)

7. Submission date to be set at a later date.
8. Can be Low or High poly
9. HAVE FUN

Final date set:

contest will be

JULY 1st - Aug 31st

(excluding the design time which ends JULY 1st, therefor ALL designs must be posed here b4 this date.)

Voting will be

Sept 1st - Sept 8th

i like the whole contest idea, but just those 2 points kind of lose it, if its a concept, and your own design, wouldn't it be something of your own "company" or do you expect us to come up with a design and name it a porsche, or a fiat or something of that sort?

well it must seem look as if it would be designed by the company, like you wouldn't make a Porsche and make a car that looks like the Enzo.

so if u make a BMW you would put the BMW grill in the front. thats all i was saying just make it seem as it would come from a company.

Could you explain this? I might enter, but I'm in the middle of getting myself a new pc, and the car I could enter with takes way more days to make in max then the 3 hours that I drew it on paper..

Oh I didn't notice that draw rule. I'll try to get something done, I don't wanna play with the nurbs or splines thou. Maybe I'll take good ol' paper and pen to use then hehe. I just started directly to make the mesh poly by poly already

well i was thinking bout it and ill say we can drop that u can make it any car u want.

i dont know the closeing date as i didnt know how many people would join so ill set the date soon , unless you guys have some idea of how long you think it will take.


Edit: i dont not know if i will enter this unless i can get my new pc to install xp its realy getting on my nurves.

here's what i drew in about 1 hour or so. It's some sort of present day Mercury Cougar concept. I'm not able to model til probably next week though cos of exams
