mobile friendly

Hey, i was wondering if its not time to make this site mobile friendly since its quite hard to see the attached pictures on a mobile browser because the pop up window closes itself when i try to scroll a bit or even zoom.

It´s not my responsability, but i think it´s a lot of work for this ... this is not a simple website, i think ... may be i´m mistaken ...

I already thought about doing an iPhone app for SMCars when I got my first iPhone. I dropped the idea because 1/ iPhone doesn't mean 100% of mobile users and 2/ iPhone means you have to pay for the developer kit and 3/ you're not sure the app will be authorized by Apple and 4/ the only solution you've got left in this case is jailbreak and lots of iPhone aren't JBed.

So a true mobile version is of great interest, but we need some study and probably some serious work about achieving mobile site with vBulletin (our forum engine)

Anyways, be assured your feedback is properly registered If anyone else is interested, feel free to post in this thread to help us enlarge our ... motivation !

its not that hard tbh im doing it right now to GOM-Team.com still gotta fix up my mobile theme but it does work

I come to SMCars on my Iphone dozens of time during my day, I'm acutualy using it right now to post my comments and although it does have some issues it works just fine here. A Smart phone application it's a lot of work to build and also costy and some don't even work that great. Something for the admin cats to think about it in near future but right now I can get by just fine.

i didnt mean a mobile app, i was thinking only about a bit of tweaking here and there. the site works better than many others, it just needs small adjustments. anyway im happy that this kinda feedback is well received

While it of course could be better, I've never had too much trouble navigating on this site with Nokia 5800 or Samsung Galaxy Tab. It could be something worth looking into, however
