Should we post our stuff into this thread? :? Thinking that if 10 people post their work in progress into one thread... its 60 pages in 3 days or something... My ultimate racecar is over here, its just missing a interior and a proper render (wich im not capable to do). I mean >OVER HERE<.

not there...

Hey code32, you say you can't do a proper render because you use ZMod right? If that is the case, then I know how to solve that problem:

http://www.freedownloadscenter.com/M...ploration.html

It is called 3D Exploration, and is usefull not only as a file converter, but aslo as a raytracer. So all you would have to do is export from Zmod as a .3ds file and import it into 3D Exploration and render it! It is better than nothing, and I would know, I used it for a long time before I got Max.

Hey people, What's up?!

I think I'm going to sign into this Contest. I'm going with a nice tuned Mitsubishi Eclipse from abot 95-98 (I'm still looking for Blueprints for thisone).

I'm not yet that good in modeling, but i hope i can learn something here

One question at this point: Isn't it normal that everyone starts off with a new model instead of using an old one?? If everyone could post whatever thay wanted, there could some one put in here whatever he/she has modeled years ago, I think that's not really the sense behind a contest, right?

Cya,
Alex

I have a question... With the car that is posted above (mine), I am nearly completed with the body shell (just have to do the rear of the decklid and rear bumper).

So here is the actuall question: Is it ok to scrap it and start another car? I am really disliking the looks of this car and would prefer to start over. That and the deadline is plenty time away, so I don't think I would have to worry about that.

Is it ok to scrap the project and start another in its place? Thanks.
