Idea for new contest

I have an idea, something like Demo car contest, like /////ALPINE Civic or MTX van or many other cars, make your own demo car, if you are interesting say so, i think this contest can be very interesing

For demo you mean those cars with huge monitors, hi-fi, woofers and so on ??
"Sounds" like an interesting idea. let's see some opinions here.

OK, thanks, if others think that, just start modeling your demo car. There is no rules except thread name, type : Demo car - car name, example: Demo car - Daihatsu Charade.
Close date is about first day of Spring, so it's gonna be enough time for modeling some crazy demo cars.
Price: I don't know, maybe nothing, maybe something, but this is just for fun.

sounds like a great idea maybe start a new thread and make the first post with a list of rules This way we'll get more ppl invovled and it'll be easier for ppl to see the rules

just a question out of curiousity, can we post different ideas in this thread?? b/c i might come up with something.. not guranteed yet.. or do you want to keep this thread strictly for this demo car thing??

well.. basically.. i dunno, this idea doesnt seem too promising, but what i had in mind is maybe each person picks a favorite car from some movie, any movie, for example, the delorean from back to the future, or grease lighting from the movie GREASE or the batmobile from batman, or the rx8 from xmen, well, you get idea.. basically each person picks a favorite movie car and does his best to model, and then we judge..

what i like about this idea is the fact that most movie cars have just the basic car blueprints, and from there the person has to depend on ref pics to model the rest of teh car so its just like in the movie, it might encourage ppl to use ref pics more, and get a new sense of dimension that doesnt have blueprints involved...

for example, i wouldnt mind entering with the rx8 from xmen, i have the main blueprints for the body, but after i have taht done, i have to depend on refs to be able to do the bumpers and the rest of teh car

once again, just a wild idea that i thought maybe give it a shot

PS.. if this idea was suggested before, then forget this post, lol,
