Quick Combo #1 - 4-Door Sedan

At first I want to say this contestidea is not mine. I found similar from finnish modeling site and I found it quite exciting. Idea is to model something in 1 hour (or more) so these contest will be quick ones. For example you have to model a truck in hour and make a render of it. Rendertime doesn't count in to that 1 hour. As we can't spy how long you model I suppose you are that honest that you won't cheat eh?

First contest, model a 4-door sedan from any era you want. Just needs to be a car with 4-doors and boot. Make it lowpoly or hipoly doesn't matter. You have 2 hours to make it but if you need to texture it that doesn't count on to that 2h. Show atleast one render and one wirepic. Resolution should be atleast 640x480. As people doesn't have time to model every day this contest ends in a week at 2nd of May. But remember you can spend only 2h for the model only!

I'll start to model as soon as I get my computer in order. I deleted some useless programs yesterday and my Windows got slow for some reason. I hope I don't have to reinstall it ;P

Just a quick question. The 2 hour limit does that count for the render setup eg. lighting,materials and so forth?

Nope it counts only modeling the mesh

Lightning and materials doesn't count on that

Thanks Zach for the tip, I'll try that too. Already cleaned registery with some other tools and defragged it. Seemed to work aswell
