The vote is now over. I won, but that's not the most important point in my opinion :
- The contest progressed weirdly. Originally minded as a short one (2 months on summer), it lasted 2.5 times longer.
- The subject appeared to be appealing, as 14 people choosed a car, and many of them started their work.
- Some cars turned as great models : without checking the WIP section, it's pretty easy to remember how nice are the KTM X-Bow, the Alfa Giulia GTA, the Smart ForTwo (sorry for people I forget, I'm not meaning their work wasn't good)
- I and some others were a bit disappointed when it turns out that only 2 cars were submitted before the deadline...
- ... but soon I enjoyed (and I'm sure I'm not the only one) how close the vote was. It happened that JaZu and me leaded the race about the same time each other during these 2 weeks of voting process.
- And of course, this final result with only one vote between JaZu and me. I'm sure the result is a bit random : 2 days less or more, and JaZu would have won.
So here are the prizes : 2000 points for the gold medal, and 1000 points for the silver medal. Yes I know, the prizes are higher than what I planned to offer. That's just that my point counter have raised a little.
JaZu, I still think you deserved the win more than me. I hope we'll run soon for another contest, possibly with some others
Thanks to everyone who entered the contest, to everyone that voted, and especially to every one who posted in this thread to explain his vote. I already said that, but I really appreciated your feedback on both cars.
