Haha, so it came down to just us then? Well, kinda narrows my options to vote. =)
Atleast we have very different cars - so this is going to be interesting.
Your Ariel looks very good, sharp model and clear renders!
So, good luck!

my entry is barely half-finished (more like 38%) if I were only to do the exterior.

too bad only 2 finished... but that doesn't mean it's easier to descide for whom i should cast my vote.
tom i have been closely following your project so i am more familiar with it. too bad you couldn't finish it in time. the render looks great, maybe a tiny bit too bleached, the wire renders have a better atmosphere imo.
JaZu's Alfa is stunning. the car looks very complete and finished. the blue paint fits it very well, maybe red would have looked nicer. in your first render your front wheelarch isn't smoothed
ah the descision... it's very difficult. i have to give my vote to jazu, because in the end the materials are better overall imo.
both did a great job, and that doesn't mean that either one has lesser skills. detail wise tom wins but the render is what counts in the end, so i give my vote to jazu.

You've resume pretty well what I think of both projects.
I gave my vote to JaZu not by fairplay, but because I think its render looks excellent and for one more important reason : he did a better choice than mine for his entry, because he took something he manage to finish within the contest time frame.
I just wasn't able to do that. That's the main reason why I say congratulations to you, JaZu : for me you're the true winner of the contest. Whatever the vote.

it's really hard to vote here. As it are 2 very interesting entry's.
Though it's a pitty tom used the atmosphere ony in the wire renders. If you used them in your other renders as well it would be nicer imo. The others are a bit to bright.
As for the alfa, It looks good but the smoothing can have some touches on some area's. But renders are nice..
But my vote goes to tom, as he has put many details in his car. His car looks very well made and set up. Especially for without bp's. And looking at the wire the alfa laks some details and smoothness in the wire. Looking at those details my vote goes to tom.

Both cars have lots of details, but at the same time, they are lacking some.
it's really hard to choose, and I think both are winners.
It's a close call, 16 to 18, with only a few days left!
My vote goes to....
JaZu!
Why? I don't know, I just like it more.
But as I said, in my opinion, both of you are winners

I agree with you JaZu. At least two entries is really the minimum
Btw, back to drawgame ! So I have to remember that if there is same votes number for you and me, you'll win, as you submitted your pics first.

It is really hard to decide which car is better (as everybody said already) , Details versus materials ........hmmmmmmmmmmmm............ i've been looking at both cars now for like 14-15 min. , i love JaZu's car so much , great materials and modeling dude, very nice , but when i look at tom's entry , i can't help appreciating the very good details , fantastic details tom ....... i'll go for the details this time , my vote goes for tom ( i wish if i could have voted for myself )

Points are the figures noted under your posts number : currently -92 for you and about 7254 for me. Please refer to this thread to learn more about them : http://www.smcars.net/forums/general...80-points.html
They're almost useless as of now. Our beloved team will communicate later on them, when everything will be ready for their use.

My vote is for tom. I like more the rendering and the choice of the car (IMO is more original).
I like a lot the Alfa too, but I have to choose. No offense.
Compliments to both of you, for the great work and for keeping the contest alive.
And I think it's way more thrilling a one-to-one competition .
So far tom +2... (written just to help you voting to make them win together )
Cheers Dario

Thanks dppd69, not because you voted for me, but because you voted and took the time to write down the reason behind your vote.
Last up from me, as the votes are really close and we're at the last day of voting. Who could have bet on such a close run ? Really funny !
So guys, this is your last chance to choose the winner. Every vote can make the difference. Go voting now !

congrats tom and JaZu for completing your models. I wish I could have finished mine in time.
Wow, right now the contest is a tie. This looks like it will come down to just a vote or two to decide who wins.
I had a really tough time deciding who to vote for, but I decided to go with JaZu because I felt the render was slightly better and the back of tom's Atom looked a little empty without the engine.

hahaha...neck and neck to the finish...
my vote is going to tom...to me it just seems to be presented nicer, even if its not finished...the reflections and lighting in JaZu's dont seem to do the model justice...in my opinion of course
the fact that neither of you have a gender made me laugh...your both an "it"
