this being a render makes no sense.

if someone is good enough to make a good render, why would you ruin it with LENS FLARES?

I think its quite rude to just make such accusations without offering any proof like the original photo ... In the thread that T-Shine linked to its pretty clear that he has arranged the renders to mimic some famous Enzo poses. (and in some of the interior renders its pretty clear that its rendered)

I trust that ORB is honest with us and applaud his work ! Well done

You can see it at 3d02.com. And that is the best site to buy cars IMO.
I think his name there is orbfleur or something like that.

I would be very surprised if the image was entirely CG. Althought the windscreen wiper and its reflection look a bit strange.

If it is all CG then it's the best i've ever seen. But as someone says above... why would someone with such superb modelling and texturing skills use lens flare to make the lights look like they're flashing?

Surprise surprise!! it is ENTIRELY cg.. the original render looked too cartoonish so i spiced it up a little.. (yeh those flares look stupid i admit) This was actually a test render as u can see the Ferrari-badge on the rims and the tire sidewall are wrong way cause they're mirrored.. the rear mirror is sticking out the windscreen.. the wiper doesn't even touch the windscreen entirely so it looks weird.. the front air intake's are crappy.. there's no keyholes in the doors (the little dots) etc. etc..

So as i said this was a test render. it took about 1 hour to render even though my machine specs are: AMD athlon 1400XP or something (1600Mhz), 512mb ram and geforce2 64mb, and 20 gb disk space.. If someone was wondering you must need a hell of a machine to render.. Well you don't..

Thanks for comments and BTW i'm waiting for challengers..

And another BTW you can see it at 3d02.com and renderosity.com.. but what do i need to do to attach pics at cgtalk? Do you need a server where to link them or what?

In that case I ask your humble forgiveness for saying that the model wasn't all CG...

It is a truly impressive bit of modelling. And it is so subtley textured and rendered.

How did you get the interior so right? and the writing in the tyres, and the indicators (turn signal lights whatever) oh... its too much!

Nice Work

P.S. How much cooler does the Enzo look with that purple, slightly matt paint??!!
