Brazilian Chevrolet Opala 1972

The Opala was a Brazilian version of the Opel Rekord, produced from 1969 to 1989, retaining the basic shape with front/rear end variations. In its last days the design was heavily outdated but had -- still does -- a legion of fans. Some of which requested a model, os here it is. I myself learned to drive on one of these. This is the cheapest, low-budget version.
Polymodeled in Max 5.0, rendered with VRay.
Thanks for watching.

Something is missing, but I can't figure out what, since both the model and render look great!

Thanks the_pest and NightEye! Thanks as well to Flash Gordon for the reply to the original topic which did not make it to the new server.
As for the model, it is really that bare. Very little chrome, and you know how i love chrome.

Great work. I've always wanted to ask you a question. How many completed cars do you have already? A lot, right?

Keep doing "your thing". Nice to see old cars modelled.

Re: Brazilian Chevrolet Opala 1972

looks good, but I think there is a mistake with the rearlight, but maybe the car was different in germany.

Old topic and it is indeed different in brazil, FG
