Talking Panda Widebody is Back in Town !!

Hi guys,
I'm working again on my Panda (do you remember the ITC2 contest ??) to test new color combos and to find a decent postproduction pipeline in Photoshop.
My goal is to obtain a print for my room at home , and to study something new for me.
At the end probably I will write a tutorial together with a friend of mine, covering all the stuff from modeling to Ps work.
I have no hurry, my room deserves my best efforts

Here what I have so far. Please C&C about lighting and color combos... New pics soon

Cheers Dario

Car looks very nice. I'm not up much with these type cars, but the render looks very nice. What do you think you will be studying up for next ( I assume that means modeling something different?)

Thanks Icekid,
I want to study the postprocessing with Photoshop, alpha masks and so on.

I recently have followed a 3D conference in Italy and one of the speakers (a pro) said: "who does all in 3D (he means when the final rendering from your package is the final image) is stupid, truly stupid".
So this has made me feel "truly stupid" and has given me motivations to give a try to all this stuff.

A friend of mine will tutor me - he likes a lot the Panda and my former renders - and has proposed to me to write a four-hands tutorial about all the production pipeline (from Modeling to Postproduction) using the Panda as subject.

So let's start the trip !

Cheers Dario

I'm a professional 3D modeler and texture maker, and I totally agree with this words!

Photoshop can solve every rendering problem on the face of the Earth!

Really great work dppd69!

Panda was going outside for a walk, and found this nice site...
She decided I have to take a picture, so this is the result.

Edit: The image in the last post

First try at compositing, so be gentle

btw, give a try to the Blochi's sIBL (Smart IBL). It's simply awesome.

Cheers Dario
