Hi all
Spurred by some ideas from last Autorama, here is my 40 Ford Coupe donned in RetroRod regalia.

You've gone all mad and wild Mr. Palatnik, didn't expect to see you customise more of your cars

Love this one also of course

Thanks Prykie, Catlin, FlashG

I have made it a bit more stylish on the rear, extending the fender backwards, also testing new color combinations.

Wow, love the colour scheme, I'm a bit shocked to see you turning classics into rods, good to see

Thanks again Prykie and Catlin

Well custom cars are classics in their own way.
Dave Stromberger (Nostalgic Dave) once commented that the majority of surviving 40 Fords are custom. He also pointed out that in 1940 Ford no longer used 5-nut wheels , so i just removed the nuts and kept the wheel (=

Rear view with special taillights.

hmm i don't get the long rear end, if it's such a hot rod, why waste so much weight on the rear?

anyways, nice design and paint scheme, preferred the first one most
the only thing that bothers me are the windows on the side, they look very weird and bland, they need some kind of 'sil' or a rubber rim.

I'm a Prefectionist
