Hi all. I found old model on my hdd and i started to use free render system lately so i decided to post some results. The model is done and I'm not planning to add anything to it...maybe a pilot someday but not now for sure. Well..here it goes:


the cool thing about KT is that it can handle really big amounts of polies. Each F-14 is about 300k polies and max can't handle two of them even after messing around with preferences. Also KT does not complain with big maps and Max sometimes shows the error "Out of memory". Next render tommorow. Hope U'll like it. C&C most welcome.

I like it, it looks good.


It could improve on a few things...

-The 2 flying F-14's look a bit dull and too cartoony. Move them a bit farther back, maybe add some blur.
-The 2 F-14's sitting in the background, look like they're hovering over the ground. I think you'll have to do something about their shadows.
-The asphault looks OK from a distance, but looks a bit...liquidy...up close (near the bottom of the pic).
-The picture could look a bit more dynamic if the center F-14 was racing along the runway. Again, maybe some (motion) blurring effects can fix this.
-Try a different lens flare effect for the sun.
