I think it's really nice, man, you got awesome tailights, the modeling and the materials are very good IMO, and I think your red car paint is very good too but I don't like the rims, in both of the renderings, a matter of taste I believe XD, other than that, awesome renders.

Thanks for the advice. To be honest I'm just trying recreate your light set-up. I really like the red car and the rims... so nice!

I'm not so good with rendering, is a .hdr enough for lighting or do you also need a plane that is emitting light? What about the background? Is it a wall or box/ball?

Would you mind posting a scene set-up screenshot?

there are two setups, for the red one I use a wall in L shape, and hdri for lighting and reflections too, the silver one has the hdri for lighting only and gradien ramp cylinders for reflections, and the car is sett on a halfsphere

I didn't notice you posted it here, so I will be brief and say aloud : it kicks ass !

Only 2 critics from me : the front light glass cover is too clear to be realistic, and the side mirrors (on grey render) looks weird, just like if there was a bump. But I'm not sure, it may be an artefact of lighting.

One question about the red render : why tuning a diesel A3 ?

Anyways, welcome to SMC as a poster, I hope you'll consider posting a WIP thread here.

tom120934: thx man, glad you like it

there are only changed wheels, because I don't like standart ones, but lots of people doen't like them, so I made the A8 rims that are on the silver one

Sno: thx, man, it is bit bad quality, because don't have time to wait for the render, and didn't render it again, but, i think I will rerender it, because people like it more then the silver one, that shoud be the main render

so if you guys want to have the red one in better quality, let me know, I will render it again

The render kick ass indeed, very nice! i already saw it on cg-cars but now i cant ell you that it looks bloody awesome! Only one question, whats the total polycount of it and don't you get memory problems?

Because i see you have an interior and even without interior my galalrdo starts lagging and even with vrayproxy i run out of memory:S so what are your pc specs.

But nevertheless damn good job on this one, now see such renders of your new wip.
